Linda Sue Tignor Bowen, 68, Duffield, VA answered the Lord's call Home, while praising His name at the residence of her daughter, Sunday, February 24, 2013.
Linda was born in Scott County, VA on February 17, 1945 to the late Roy and Margaret Lee Lane Tignor.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Donald Bowen; and brothers, Wayne and Doug Tignor preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Sabrina Wells and husband, Vincent, Chesterfield, VA and Dana Williams and husband, Danny, Gate City, VA; sons, Jeff Masterson, and wife, Pam, Kingsport, TN, Michael "Mike" Masterson, Ft. Polk, LA, and Billy Bowen and wife, Tara, Chesterfield, VA; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Judy Tignor, Fishersville, VA; brothers, Bill Tignor and wife, Bobbie, Gate City, VA and Guy Tignor, Duffield, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family is honoring Mrs. Bowen's wishes with a private family memorial service.
