Jessee Lynn Bowen, 54, Gate City, VA passed away, Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at his residence.
Jessee was born in Sullivan County, TN on December 29, 1956, the son of the late Charles and Betty Frances Winegar Bowen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step sons, Randy and Bobby.
He is survived by his love, Julia Statzer, Gate City, VA; brothers, Jeff "PeeWee" Bowen, Gate City, VA, Chris Bowen, Valdosta, GA, and Donnie Bowen, Las Vegas, NV; a step daughter; two step sons; one special granddaughter, Valerie Statzer; several step grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home.
Following the wishes of Mr. Bowen, his body was cremated.
