Curtis E. Boggs – Mt. Carmel, TN Curtis Boggs – 76, entered into Heaven June 10, 2010 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Mr. Boggs was a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a wonderful Holy Ghost filled man of God, a great prayer warrior and a man who loved the word of God and a Faithful member of the Christian Life Center for 27 years. He was a retired Miner from Westmorland Coal Company. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Sue Boggs (2009). Survivors are Daughters and sons-in-law; Nancy and John Dobernic, Desoto, MO. Janet and Rev. Ron Meeks, Desoto, MO, Ellen and John Franks, Madill, OK, Theresa and Fred Harvey, Mt Carmel, TN, and Sons and daughters-in-law; Monty and Shelley Boggs, Kingsport, TN, Rev. Doug and Debbie Boggs, Church Hill, TN, Step-sons; Sam and Missy Powers, Greenville, TN, Milford Jr. and Susan Powers, Kingsport, TN and Benjamin Powers, Kingsport, TN. Grandchildren, Michelle Dobernic, Melissa and Mark Letner, Sarah and Chris Armstrong, Hannah Meeks, Cindy and Rev. Jackie Flanary, Lisa and Nick Manning, Rev. Curtis and Jessica Franks, Amy and Rev. Brandon McGuire, Michael and Laura Franks, Angela and Matt McCamy, Melinda and Kevin Harper, Heather and Nick Bland, Rachel Harvey, Randy and Chandila Boggs, Brent Boggs, Sydney Boggs, Kennedy McKee, Hunter McKee, Riley McKee and Christian McKee; step-grandchildren; David and Rose Powers, Alicia Ferrell, Grace Powers, Kayla Powers, Anthony Powers, Kristen Powers, Benjamin Powers, Jr., Matthew Powers, Bethany Morgan and Christopher Morgan. Great- grandchildren; Isaac and Luke Letner, Ethan Armstrong, Peyton, Brayden and Cason Flanary, Anna, Abbie, and Andrew Manning, Chloe Franks, Allie and Jake McCamy, Kevin Lee, Dylan and Alexia Harper, Jade Bland, Lily and Ava Boggs and Jealynn Powers. Sister, Lois Sergant, Memphis, TN, brothers, Danny Boggs, Norton, VA and David and Jean Boggs, Appalachia, VA. Several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Sunday, June 13, 2010 from 4:30 — 6:30 p.m. at the Christian Life Center, John B. Dennis Hwy. Kingsport, TN. and other times at the residence of his daughter Theresa Harvey. Services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. in the church chapel with Pastor Rev. D. Keith Barker, Rev. James Tharp and Rev. Eddie Johnson officiating. Music will be provided by Chris Fitzwater and Rikki McCugh and the Christian Life Center Choir. Graveside services will be Monday, June 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in East Lawn Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN. The family will be meeting at the cemetery for the graveside service. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
