He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ben F. Rose. Survivors include his father, Richard (Rick) Bledsoe, Huntsville, AL; mother, Irene Bledsoe, Duffield, VA; paternal grandparents, Gilmer and JoAnn Bledsoe, Duffield, VA; maternal grandmother, Jean Rose, Duffield, VA; aunts, Kathy and Rick Fritz, Duffield, VA, Mitzi and Dallen Clark, Church Hill, TN, Myra and Gary Shifflett, Richlands, VA; uncle, Randy Bledsoe, Duffield, VA; cousins, Chad Fritz, Iraq, Josh Fritz, Duffield, VA; several other cousins. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2007 at Gate City Funeral Home. Services will be at 8 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Garry Hood officiating. Music will be provided by The Lee Smith Singers. Graveside services will be at 11.00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2007 at the Smith Cemetery, Kingdom, Purchase Community. The family will meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. for graveside services. Josh Fritz, Josh Shifflett, Dallen Clark, Gary Shifflett, David Kindle and Randy Bledsoe will serve as pallbearers.
