Mrs. Sandra G. Berry, 60, Duffield, VA passed away, Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Indian Path Medical Center with her loving husband of 35 years by her side.
Mrs. Berry was born in Scott County, VA on February 26, 1951, the daughter of the late Hiram Thomas and Ethel Lee Roberts Wallen. Sandra was retired from the laundry department at Ridgecrest Manor in Duffield, VA in December 2009.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Helen Dishner and brother-in-law, Coy Alan Smith.
Surviving is her husband, David Berry, Duffield, VA and sister, Lois Ann Smith, Kingsport, TN; brothers, Thomas Lynn Wallen, Church Hill, TN and Garvey Odell Wallen, Kingsport, TN; niece, Sherree Jarrett; nephews, Darin Smith, Alan Smith, and Shannon Smith; along with several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Friends and family may call anytime at the home of David Berry.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley and Charley Jarrett officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
