Robert Lee Berry, 68, Kingsport, TN passed away, Wednesday, May 1, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley.
Robert was born in Scott County, VA on June 6, 1945 to the late Hollie and Blanche Margaret Hood Berry.
In addition to his parents, an infant sister preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Ann Berry, Kingsport, TN; sister, Brenda Tomlinson and husband, Jack, Clinchport, VA; Donnie Berry, Richmond, IN, Hobert Berry, Clinchport, VA; Larry Berry and wife, Joyce, Kingsport, TN; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Monday, May 5, 2014 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Garry Hood officiating. The Hood Family will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at East Lawn Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN. Anthony Reed, Eddie Strong, Tom Davis, Brandon Ramsey, Terry Campbell, and Marty Stanley will serve as pallbearers. Employees of CSX Railroad will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
