Nancy Ann Berry, 83, Blackwater, VA passed away, Monday, May 25, 2015 at Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, TN.
Mrs. Berry was born in Scott County, VA on April 20, 1932, the daughter of the late John Henry and Rose Ann Tomlinson Gibson.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Bob Berry; son, Joe Berry; one granddaughter; one great granddaughter; 2 sisters; and 4 brothers preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Livesay, Duffield, VA, Vivian Bledsoe, Duffield, VA, Linda Berry, Duffield, VA, and Betty Collins and husband, Taylor, Sneedville, TN; sons, Robert Berry and wife, Jackie, Blackwater, VA, Junior Ray Berry and wife, Lynn, Duffield, VA, and Jessie Berry and wife, Monica, Blackwater, VA; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a special great granddaughter, Emily Bledsoe, Duffield, VA; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2105 at the Gate City Funeral Home and other times at the residence Wanda Livesay and the residence of Norma Bledsoe. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley officiating. Ronnie Tipton and Nancy Peters and Betty Jo Wells and Mary Pam Barnett will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Berry Family Cemetery, Fairview, VA. Ed Julian, Shawn Roberts, Robert Sivert, Jim Berry, Tommy Berry, and Junior King will serve as pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m., Friday to go in procession to the graveside service.
