Rebecca Jayne Bellamy (Chapman)
Rebecca was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and special friend to all. Born May 23, 1966, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at University Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, TN.
Rebecca graduated from Gate City High School in 1984 and graduated from Mountain Empire College in 1994 with an associate’s degree as a Registered Nurse. She worked as the Director of Nursing for 20 years at local nursing homes. She enjoyed spending every possible minute with her family, especially her special “red head” niece. She was a member of Community Baptist Church. Rebecca touched the hearts of many people and brought many smiles and happiness to those who knew her. She was a very giving person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone. She is now in heaven with her dad and brother, with no pain or sorrow, only love and enjoyment.
She was preceded in death by her father; Ray Chapman and brother, Anthony Ray Chapman.
She is survived by her mother, Janice Chapman; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Jamie Chapman; a special niece, Charlina June Chapman; fiancé, Randy Cox; special adopted brother, Stephen McMurray; along with several aunts and uncles.
Rebecca will be cremated and buried with her brother, as per her wishes.
Visitation for the Bellamy family will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, 5:00-7:00p.m. at Community Fellowship Church. Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00p.m. with the Rev. Lester Morelock officiating. Judy McConnell will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 2:00p.m.at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Ronnie Chapman and Charles Chapman will serve as pallbearers.
Family and Friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. for the graveside service.
