Lucille McCracken Bellamy, 96, Gate City, VA passed away, Monday, September 9, 2013 at the Wexford House, Kingsport, TN.
Mrs. Bellamy was born in Hawkins County, TN on May 23, 1917 t o the late James and Virginia Cox McCracken.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Willruf W. Bellamy; sisters, Elizabeth Sivert, Mary Pyle; brothers, Dave,Howard and Clarence McCracken.
She is survived by her sons; William and wife, Charlotte Bellamy, Gate City, VA, James R. Bellamy, Mt. Dora, FL; daughter, Donna Davidson, Mt. Carmel, TN; daughter-in –law, Wilma Bellamy, Kingsport, TN brother, Clyde McCracken, Church Hill, TN; grandchildren, Gregory Bellamy, Dianna France, Felicia Flanary, Heath Davidson, Becky Copas; great grandchildren, Josh France, Sean Bellamy, Rachel Dockery, Amber Martin, Summer Huffine, Stephanie Barker, Amy Harvey, Brooke, Lauren, Kenny, and Tyler Copas, Evan and Eli Davidson; 10 great great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11-1 p.m.; Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow the service, Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Wayne Klepper, Jack France, Josh France, Gregory Bellamy, Sean Bellamy, Kenneth France, Ron Salyers will serve as pallbearers. Brad Dockery, Robbie Martin, Heath Davidson and Ronnie Cole will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caregivers at the Wexford House.
