Ricky Madison Begley, 64, Rogersville, TN passed away, Monday, June 6, 2022, at Hawkins County Memorial, Rogersville, TN.
Ricky was born in Eidson, TN on August 25, 1957, and was the son of the late Ray Carson and Edna Mae (Jones) Begley.
He was retired from Kingsport Press, and B.A.E. At a young age, he was a proud member of the Scott County Lifesaving Crew.
In addition to his parents, his brothers, Johnny Begley, and Miles Begley preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Celisa “C.J.” Mueller and Phillip Dean, Roger Begley and wife, Mandie, Ricky Ray Begley and Cara Caldwell, and Bridgett Begley and Jose Barragan; grandchildren, Brandon Begley, Connor Begley, Aiden Begley, Carleigh Barragan, Cyleigh Caldwell, Taliyah Barragan, Blake Begley, and Athena Begley; mother of his children, Connie S. Begley; sisters, Connie Begley, Debra Lawson, and Chris Begley; brother, Jamie Begley; nieces and nephews, Melissa McQuail, Ray Begley, Billy Begley, Sarah Lawson, and Jason Begley; and very special friends, Danny Susong, Ronnie and Rhonda Hurd, Dwight and Crystal Hurd, Ronnie and Rhonda Hicks.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Manis. Ronnie and Dwight Hurd will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the Begley Cemetery, Hancock County/Scott County line. Ricky Begley, Roger Begley, Brandon Begley, Brandon Lyons, Stacy Vaughn, and Chad Cobb will serve as pallbearers. Aiden Begley, Billy Begley, Jose Barragan, and Connor Begley will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Special Thank You to Deputy Billy Begley, Sgt. Stacy Vaughn, and Paramedic Weston Morgan.
Family is asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m., Sunday to go in procession to the graveside service.
