Kenneth Lee "Wagner" Begley – Kingsport, TN Mr. Kenneth Lee "Wagner" Begley, 84, Kingsport, TN passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 at Erwin Health Care, Erwin, TN. Mr. Begley was born in Scott County, VA on April 5, 1926, the son of the late Garland Lane and Maggie Lee Begley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dingus Begley; a daughter, Mary Ann Begley; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughters, Norma Jean Strickler and husband, James, Kingsport, TN and Norma Lee Gillenwater and husband, Gary Lee, Kingsport, TN; eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth and Paula; along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Susan Anderson officiating. A quartet of family members will provide the music. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Begley Family Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
