Barbara Deloris Baker, 63 of Ft. Blackmore, VA, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at her residence.
Barbara was born in Williamson, West Virginia on April 21, 1952 to the late William Thomas and Janice Rose (Castle) Flippen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Wayne Baker, Sr.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her daughters, Tracy Begley, Dungannon, VA and Melonie Castle, Roxboro, NC; son, Todd Baker, Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Conner and Cole Begley, Nicole Fish and husband, Jake, Brianna, Justin, and Caleb Castle, Brett and Kane Baker; great grandson, Braylen Fish; and nephews, Nicholas and Stephen Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016 in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Summey officiating. Pine Grove Harmony will be providing the music.
Burial will follow the funeral service at Carter Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
