Annie Sue Tomlinson – Gate City, VA

Annie Sue Tomlinson, 89, Gate City, VA entered into rest, February 18, 2025, at the Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness. 

Born on April 9, 1935, in Clinchport, VA. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Dora Smith Tomlinson. 

After high school, she attended college at ETSU. Annie was known for her strong will and unwavering determination. 

She was preceded in death by two half brothers, James and Clifton Rhoton; two sisters, Jean and Minnie Rose; brother, Ralph (R.D.) Tomlinson.

Surviving are sisters, Faye Kindle and Mae Tomlinson; sister-in-law, Linda Tomlinson; along with several nieces and nephews.

It was her wish to be cremated.
