Albie Pauline Thompson – Weber City, VA 

Albie Pauline Thompson passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025.

Albie was born in Scott County, VA on September 29, 1941, to the late Thurman and Albie (Bates) Tipton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Thompson. Sisters, Rosie Farthing, Kathleen Edwards, and Lenthia Templeton; Brothers, Howard Tipton, Roy Tipton, Charlie Tipton, Nelson Tipton, James Tipton, Ellis Tipton, and Omer Tipton.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda Frazier (Wesley); Sons, Mark Thompson and Bobby Thompson; Special Caregiver, Trina Noel. Several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Family will receive friends Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 5-7p.m. at Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Rev. George Gibson will be officiating

Graveside service will be Friday, February 7, 2025, at 1:00p.m. at the Tipton Cemetery, Manville Community. Friends and Family are to meet at the funeral home at 12:30p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.

Bobby Thompson, Mark Thompson, Rocky Frazier, Lonnie Frazier,Wesley Frazier, and David Fugate will serve as pallbearers.
