Terry Rudolph Kilgore – Kingsport, TN
Terry Rudolph Kilgore, 70, Kingsport, TN passed away, Monday, August 10, 2020 at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, TN.
Terry was born in Scott County, VA on April 13, 1950, and was the son of the late Gladstone Oferell and Virginia Dare (Fraley) Kilgore.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and later worked as a Medical Lab Technician at Holston Valley Hospital.
Surviving is his wife, Phyllis (Dockery) Kilgore; sons, Daniel Wilson Kilgore and Stephen Eric Kilgore and wife, Catherine Frances; grandchildren, Elijah Stephen Kilgore and Eve Catherine Kilgore; sister, Rita Lane and husband, Darrell; brothers, Gary Leon Kilgore and Lynn Douglas Kilgore and wife, Elizabeth; along with several nieces and nephews.
A military graveside service will be conducted by members of the Virginia Army National Guard Honors Team. Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, VA at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2020.
The family will be leaving the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. to go to the graveside service.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020, from 3:00–5:30 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, 2200 Memorial Court, Kingsport, TN 37664.
The family respectfully requests those attending the graveside service or memorial service to please wear masks.
